Chief Investment Officer

Theron began managing money independently in October 2012, which later became Sorengo Partners Ltd. Theron’s investment career included various roles at Indus Capital, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. From 2008-16, he was a senior Analyst at Indus Capital working with founder David Kowitz. He left Indus on December 31st 2016 to manage Sorengo Partnership full-time. Prior to Indus, Theron held senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, Milan and London (1995-2008). He graduated Middlebury College with a BA in International Politics & Economics (1995).

Outside of the office Theron likes to spend time with his family and listen to late ‘90s / early ‘00s trance music.

Jennifer Barb, CFA CAIA

Director of Marketing and Investor Relations

Jenny is Director of Marketing and Investor Relations. Jenny handles all client relations, outreach and communications at the firm. She was most recently Partner and Head of Investor Engagement at Indus Capital Partners for 11 years through year-end 2022.  She is pursuing a Masters in Sustainable Finance at Frankfurt School of Management. 

Out of the office Jenny battles with the golf god, mainly in France, has recently resumed a long-discarded interest in bridge, and walks with her dog Elwood.

John Pryce-Robertson

Chief Operating Officer

John oversees operations, compliance, IT and middle office February 2019. Prior to joining Sorengo Partners, John worked for Cognition Investment Partners as head of business development. John began his career at Fisher Investments in the business development and client onboarding division. He holds a BSc degree in Genetics from The University of Manchester, UK.

He is a keen windsurfer, snowboarder and climber and travels all over the world to participate in these sports.

Remogiulio Cavuto

Analyst

Remo researches long and short ideas for inclusion in the Sorengo Partnership portfolio. Before joining Sorengo Partners full-time in October 2022, he previously completed internships at Sorengo Partners in 2021 and 2022. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

Outside the office he enjoys thinking about his family vineyards, reading history or psychology and working out.
